We spent a couple of days in Ridgecrest so that Hai-Tan and Rob could do some work at China Lake. Jo had a relaxing couple of days spent in shops, parks, or by the hotel pool. We had the pleasure of the hospitality of the Coombs' and Shaffer's on the evenings we were there.

On the way back to LA we stopped at Red Rock Canyon. We took some photos, had a look around and were again ammused by the signs we see.
