The Queen Mary
Jo took Rob's parents to see the Queen Mary on the 5th of May. After negotiating the trucks on the 710 freeway, we arrived at the Queen Mary and Rob's parents purchased tickets. Alec and Margaret toured the Scorpian, and then we made our way to the first tour included in the ticket - "Behind the Scenes". Once that tour was over, we participated in the second tour - "World War II". Both tours were excellent, with lots of details. After the tours, it was time for lunch, and then a quick view of the engine room and propeller of the ship. We then had a California Shake, at the
Land of Fruit and Nuts, and started our trek home on the freeway.
Disneyland
Everybody's gotta go to Disneyland ... Jo took Rob's parents to the "Happiest Kingdom on Earth". We followed the one-day plan from a book Jo bought, and hardly had to wait for any ride. We had lots of fun.
