Our friends Marlene and Rodger recommended we take a look at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, a really extraordinary cemetery. We were astounded by the vast green acres, the large statues and beautiful artwork, and the array of people buried there. The Old North Church is a copy of the Old North Church in Boston, where lanterns were hung igniting the War for Independance. There was also an huge mosaic depicting scenes from early history of the USA.
