Disneyland
At this time of year, Disneyland is in "Holiday" mode. The Haunted House was in "The Nightmare Before Christmas" scary edition, and it was very clever. Main Street was all dressed up in Christmas decorations (or Holiday decorations - they nearly go overboard trying to avoid the word Christmas). The Christmas Tree was beautiful from a distance and close up. The Small World was all dressed up with "Jingle Bells" alternating with the "It's a Small World after all". Jo ensured we got there nice and early and we went on the Peter Pan ride which Jo has been on previously with the Mulders.
Rob went on the Splash Mountain ride which had been closed last time he was in Disneyland. The Splash Mountain name comes from the last bit of the ride where the carriage plunges nearly vertically into water and everyone gets splashed.
