Legoland
On Saturday the 29th June, we went to Legoland, which was just great. We saw millions of bricks and what you can do with them - incl. Sydney Opera House, and lots of USA landmarks.
Legoland is really designed for 2-13 yo children - everything is at their height, designed to keep them completely entertained.
There were a couple of bigger rides, one which Rob went on twice. There is a cruise on the lake which we went on which had some excellent miniature buildings, including the Sydney Opera House. There were also miniature version of the Mt Rushmore sculptures (the heads of four presidents), with a cleaning team in one ear!
Being designed for children didn't stop us having an excellent time, and being there till well past closing time. We didn't have to wait in huge queues, 10 min max wait for a ride.
We are interested in trying unusual foods, and when we saw "Apple Chips" we couldn't not try them. They were excellent - just like potato chips, but apple and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, served with cream! Yummmm.
